Fees are guided by the the Australian Psychological Society (APS). The recommendation for 2025-2026 is $318 for a 40-50min session.

West Tamar Psychology fees are $250 per 50 mins which can be via Telehealth or in person. 

You do not need a referral to book an appointment. However, if you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan through your local GP, you will receive a rebate of $98.97 per session for up to 10 sessions every 12 months. Your out of pocket fee will be approximately $150.00 per session.  Other services such as WorkCover, DVA, Self Managed NDIS are also welcomed. 

CANCELLATION

We know life happens when you least expect it, so we balance our needs as a practice and your need to reschedule as best as possible. A full 48 hours notice allows us to offer someone else the opportunity for therapy and continue to keep our fees low. You may call the contact number any time, as the phone will be monitored and the 48 hours notice will be taken into account from the time of the call. As an alternative, we may be able to organise a Telehealth appointment depending on the type of therapy being conducted.  

Please note, where less than 48 hours’ notice is given for a cancellation/reschedule, or where you do not attend a scheduled appointment, a $150 fee will be collected on the day of the scheduled appointment via stored credit card details.
